Entry Description

A short documentary on the journey or Chinese adoption with interviews with parents.

Judge 1

Positives: Music choice good. Nice addition of photos.

Improvements: The lower third was a bit confusing in the beginning. Could have added/changed some shots to make it a little more interesting....like tight shots. Lighting needs help in some cases.

Judge 2

Positives: Good use of photos, pacing, good use of fullscreens to ask the questions.

Improvements: Would have liked to see the kids with the parents if possible; lighting needed improvement in one of the interviews.

Judge 3

Positives: Good use of still pictures. Good use of flashes of questions between interviews.

Improvements: Sound could be better in classroom (echo). Need better lighting in interview with lamp lighting.
