Entry Description

A gang of pals goes overboard with a game of truth or dare, leading to a wild adventure that helps them appreciate their friendship more than they ever could.

Judge 1

Positives: This was really well done both from concept to execution. The camera angles and cuts during the initial "Truth or Dare" scene were excellent. I laughed at the "will you hit me with a car" twist... very creative. You took a lot of time to plan out this project and it showed. You had multiple settings which added to your story. I also liked the use of dramatic music.

Improvements: While this was funny, a few things weren't clear such as why he couldn't answer any questions in the opening scene.

Judge 2

Positives: The whip pan sequence at the beginning was well done. It's hard to pull that off without making the viewer crazy! Changing up the shot during the sequence helped. I really liked the simple but effective opening graphics. It had a very nice look.

Improvements: The entire video could have been trimmed some. There were edits and shot angles that could have been combined into one well framed shot instead of multiple cuts. Lighting and white balance was a little off. Not enough to matter to the overall video.

Judge 3

Positives: This is very well done with a really good sense of shot composition and lighting...the scenes done outside McDonald's are very well done...a very macabre sense of humor at work here--subtle but not lost on me

Improvements: The scene outside the hospital had a lot of wind blowing on the mic which some may think blended with the mood music, but I would have reshot it because it's the apex of the whole video...it still works, though
