Entry Description

This is a PSA for Batavia High School's tutoring center.

Judge 1

Positives: Good use of multiple interviews, various camera angles and fast-paced editing to deliver an effective message through your PSA.

Improvements: Next time, improve on your overall video and audio capture quality. Also, consider writing a short script, detailing the exact line you want each interview to speak to camera. It will help build confidence in your message. Keep up the good work!

Judge 2

Positives: Your script was well organized and explained your cause well. I also liked the B-roll shots through the hallway.

Improvements: Some of the shots were over saturated and very yellow. Try to time your cuts to the music you're using to create a flow.

Judge 3

Positives: I really liked the way the video has multiple compositions of the talking head as well as using the black and white with a splash of color. The intro of the camera going through the hall was done very well and mixed well with the background music.

Improvements: Lighting on some of the subjects could have been better. The large text graphic going across the screen was difficult to make out at first.
