Entry Description

This is a demonstration how to video dedicated to teach dads how to make Sushi.

Judge 1

Positives: The tight shots of the sushi demonstration were nicely incorporated in the overall video. Good delivery by the demonstrator.

Improvements: Audio could have been improved by avoiding the camera mike and using a lav.

Judge 2

Positives: I love all of the details you provide. The closeups of your work are great.

Improvements: Unfortunately this cut off at the 3 minute time limit. I think you could have fit everything in the 3 minutes if you had edited it down. The b-roll with nat. sound segments could have definitely been shortened (i.e. the washing of the rice, the cooking of the rice, the cutting of the ingredients, etc.). Those don't need to be more than a couple of seconds. I wish I could have seen the end product.

Judge 3

Positives: Nive job shooting. You had to compete with an outside window that can be very difficult and you did great. Great job shooting to edit.

Improvements: Clean audio is very important. The audio of your instructions could be a lot cleaner.
