Entry Description

As Thomas the Train rides around the track he notices a mysterious force that rolls by his side. Will he beat the force, or will the force beat him?

Judge 1

Positives: Good use of stop animation.

Improvements: Trailer was short and did not provide enough information.

Judge 2

Positives: Nice animation. I like the "thing" in the sand moving along side Thomas. Good choice of music.

Improvements: I would have liked to see more camera angles. Too many over-head shots. Get the camera moving. Maybe Thomas' POV? The quick cuts near the end was a bit confusing. Who are these trains? Where are they? Are they Thomas' friends? Why did you include them?

Judge 3

Positives: Good concept for stop action - natural conflict. Good "likeable" character in Thomas

Improvements: Some of the stop action was not clean. End sequence w/ other trains was unclear.
