A humorous narrative about blondes

Judge 1

Positives: I enjoyed the use of humor and mocking the abused pets commercials. (it felt wrong to type that!) Also enjoyed the variety of humor. I laughed the hardest at the two girls trying to get through the doors when the other doors were open. Cutting back to that scene later was a nice touch. I enjoyed this video very much. Good job!

Improvements: In some parts the audio was a challenge and some of your shots were a bit dark and grainy. This may have been to "set the mood", but it can be accomplished with a crisper shot. Also, while I understand this was meant to be dramatic and slow, some of the shots could have been cut shorter.

Judge 2

Positives: The interaction with the faculty was effective. It gave it the "straight man" aspect for the punch line. Everyone kept in character for the most part. They seemed like dumb blondes without being stupid. You could tell they were having fun making fun of themselves, which set a good tone.

Improvements: I understand the concept of the Sarah Mclachlan PSA as the comedic contrast. But the connotation from the bummer music pulled the humor down a bit. I think it would stand on its own without the twist. Plus, the girl in the cage was a little creepy! Shoot with a tripod whenever you can. Some videos work with purposefully throwing in the shake. This video could have used one. The camera shake was a little distracting.

Judge 3

Positives: Very clever...lots of good movement and acted well

Improvements: Sound editing could be improved...camera a little shaky at times...the music is good...I get it, but it's too slow for the action in the video
