Entry Description

This show was created to document "realistic" situations that occur within the Advanced Broadcast Production class. ALL episodes are real( No, they're not...)

Judge 1

Positives: The main character did a good job. The editing was generally good.

Improvements: Know your audience! This may have been enjoyable for a small group of people in the production class, but for those of us outside of it and outside of the school, it didn't seem to have a point. Many videos fail at the concept stage when the audience isn't considered. If you are putting tape over someone's mouth, the tape should not have gone directly at the camera lens, but below it.

Judge 2

Positives: The opening credits was inventive. I like the use of the POV shot.

Improvements: A couple of the edits seemed thrown in just to have a cutaway shot. Make sure the edit supports the flow of the story line. The premise of the story was unclear. Even though there was a "to be continued", you need a clear plot line that makes me want to see what's to be continued.

Judge 3

Positives: It looked improvised and fun, and seemed like an every day situation

Improvements: The editing was a little choppy, and the story, though "to be continued" lacked resolution
