Entry Description

A group of fruit friends gaze around and begin to disappear. Sid, the apple, notices that his friends are missing and feels as if he's not welcomed to the bowl. Little does he know that it was a trap! Sid is mysteriously bruised and begins to panic.

Judge 1

Positives: The characters were interesting. Good camera angles.

Improvements: Your story needs more development. Try to create more tension and anticipation of the characters disappearing. Add more inbetweens. It looks like you held each image for nine frames. Keep the timings of the motions the same but shoot one or two shots of each position instead of nine.

Judge 2

Positives: Cleaver twist. The faces were really cute and expressive.

Improvements: Limited animation really hampers the overall style. One or two establishing shots would have been a welcomed addition.

Judge 3

Positives: Good concept for an animation. Nice composition.

Improvements: Need to work on animation techniques... smoother movements, capture the characters a bit more.
