Entry Description

This video you are about to set you eyes on is an example of erosive activity-the uplifting of an unknown anomaly. Rejuvenation.

Judge 1

Positives: Very interesting work. This took a lot of patience. I am impressed with the steadiness of the Styrofoam cups. Effective camera work. Good use of different angles.

Improvements: Try moving the rocks in one direction so they seem to flow around the cups.

Judge 2

Positives: Very cool effect. Love the atmosphere, and style.

Improvements: The moving rocks in the background were a little distracting. Some of the camera angles seem to focus more on the background rocks than on the rejuvenating cups, which is the main focus of the piece.

Judge 3

Positives: Nice variety of movements - well animated. Good music for building to the ending. Nice dramatic lighting. A perfect piece to keep in B&W.

Improvements: Take your time writing your description. Spell correctly and run it by others before you submit it. (Small but important detail.) While your film builds well to the ending, something should happen other than simply the cups becoming whole. We knew that was happening all along, give me a surprising ending or a reason that the cups should be made whole.
