Judge 1

Positives: Great graphics. Great writing/ reporting

Improvements: Use a tripod more. Closing shot of table was ineffective.

Judge 2

Positives: These are the best graphics I've seen in this competition. Very creative and professional looking. Great music choice. Blended well with the piece.

Improvements: Some of the shots were a little dark. Always white balance and use proper lighting.

Judge 3

Positives: Good use of graphics and text off top of piece. Good quick clips following opening graphics to give a sense of the event scene. Great interview subjects.

Improvements: The lighting on the piece was slightly dark, however gyms are tough to film in. The topic is great, however I think the piece would have been more powerful if it focused solely on the student getting his head shaved for his family member. The way the piece starts now is with a statement about cancer (it's bad and kills!)... but if it started with a student saying he lost or is about to lose a loved one, the viewer is immediately invested and interested to see how that student plans to help and deal with the situation.
