Entry Description

This is an act in our school's variety show. We film this event live with five cameras and a staff of 12 students.

Judge 1

Positives: Excellent job and near perfect. Great lighting looks and camera angles were awesome. Nice job on composition and directing to the music.

Improvements: The only thing I saw that could be improved is during the music part when the back-up singers were performing and there wasn't any shots of them. A small detail that could improve on this great job.

Judge 2

Positives: Very well done! Your mixing of wide shots, 2-shots, and closeups worked great. It seemed like you knew what was coming next and had a shot ready. Great job.

Improvements: Just nitpicking here. I might have started with a close up of the guitar at the beginning and then gone to the 2-shot of the guitarist and singer when he started singing the words. Really, nothing else major to improve on

Judge 3

Positives: Great job. Wonderful switching from the different cameras. Nice use of all of the cameras. Directing and Technical Quality were outstanding. Great to watch.

Improvements: No changes needed. Wonderful effort.
