Entry Description

This is a how to video on how to build an external hard drive for a computer.

Judge 1

Positives: Delivery was good and I thought the explanation was complete and easy to follow.

Improvements: More shot variety would help. Shoot video of most sequences twice going to a tighter shot the second time... then edit together. Also, keep the music under the on-camera close to avoid making feel like an afterthought.

Judge 2

Positives: Nice job! All the necessary details were present, and the video, editing and instructions were clear and concise.

Improvements: The narrative audio could be more consistent. There was a big difference of audio quality at the end. A couple of the b-roll shots could be just a little shorter, like screwing the screws.

Judge 3

Positives: I like how you used screen capture. It added a loto to the look of the project. Good clean audio.

Improvements: Dont be affraid to change up your shot more drastically when covering your edits. Your had a couple jump cuts and those could be fixed very easily by making the shot a close up.
