Entry Description

This is a comedy video produced for our school's variety show.

Judge 1

Positives: The contrast of the chase scene with the cheesy humor was good and helped hold my attention. The "little friend" clip may have been the funniest! Your scenes were generally edited well and didn't drag on too much.

Improvements: Be careful when you are shooting outside on a cloudy day as it will always have a negative effect on your white balance. Taking the time to properly set the white balance for the outdoor scenes would have gone a long way to improving the look of your video.

Judge 2

Positives: I enjoyed the sight gags with a straight lead in. The acting was pretty good.

Improvements: White balance...always white balance. Pay attention to lighting. You had a character with a light behind him with no lighting in the front to compensate. Detail is lost quickly when fighting shadows.

Judge 3

Positives: Very funny and creative...parody but without absolute reliance on the original...very Airplane-esque humor...great editing and use of imagery

Improvements: Some lighting inconsistencies, but not detracting too much overall
