Entry Description

This is a lyrical music video for the song Home by Phillip Phillips.

Judge 1

Positives: steady camera shots. good timing on the graphics.

Improvements: for me, it just wasn't effective. a picture, some words, next picture, more words. How about some motion on the words - IE: wave - how about making it wave - easy to do with special effects. The demon word - how about a close up of a 'demon'. I was looking for something and just didn't feel it there. Sometimes the strength of a song or the song's lyrics can't carry a video.

Judge 2

Positives: Nice usage of text with the visuals. Attractive scenery made it fun to watch.

Improvements: Not creative enough. Would've preferred more than fancy scenery.

Judge 3

Positives: You had some nice shot composition in some of your stills.

Improvements: This project is a good start. You have a lot of nice shots, but the graphics don't create a narrative. What is the story you want to tell? How could you arrange the pictures to tell you a story about that home or the concept of home?
