Entry Description

Music Video created to piggy back off of the same song the summer Olympic swimming team made popular at the end of the summer. The video was shown as a welcome back to school assembly at the beginning of the year, the goal was to show unity by including as many people and groups as possible in the video.

Judge 1

Positives: Cute. For the purpose you made this, it was okay.

Improvements: More creativity in the shots would have enhanced the video. Use of digital effects and creative use of transitions would have enhanced the video. A bit more rehearsal also to help the effectiveness of the lip syncs. Some lighting was too low. a few shaky handheld shots and some out of focus shots.

Judge 2

Positives: I thought the concept was cute. Fun to see students and staff participating.

Improvements: The shot were a bit shaky. The editing needed to go at a faster pace to keep up with the music.

Positives: There was a nice variety of shots. You tried to include a variety of people and you accomplished that

Improvements: The video footage could be of a much higher quality. You claimed your purpose was that this video would function as a welcome back to school, but that narrative is never told.
