Entry Description

This is a movie trailer I created from the 1994 film True Lies. I was trying to capture the feel and action of the movie.

Judge 1

Positives: this was not student made. its an actual movie clip

Improvements: this was not student created. be aware of intellectual property and plagiarism

Judge 2

Positives: considering that this trailer was created out of an existing film that had a few trailers previously released, it was interesting to see another point of view. I cannot give any credit here for visual imagery that had been borrowed from the existing footage... But the editing was pretty good.

Improvements: Please try to use original footage next time

Judge 3

Positives: I think it is a great idea to use an existing film as a case study! I actually did a comparison on your trailer and an official version from the actual movie and found yours to be on par. A good way to practice the making of trailers.

Improvements: Why not set-up similar scenes of your own to study the challenges in making a real movie and perhaps interweaving them with the actual clips of True Lies?
