Entry Description

Movie trailer created by Chris Cygnus. Explores the storyline of what would happen if the world was ending and the only way to save it was with bread. Movie trailer is meant to be a cliffhanger, rather than an exhaustive preview.

Judge 1

Positives: fun trailer. clear message of what the movie entailed. good soundtrack, good script and good acting

Improvements: no real examples. overall did a great job

Judge 2

Positives: Great idea for the story. The narrative is enhanced by the fun variety of shots. The monumental nature of the problem is being very nicely delivered and communicated..

Improvements: Make the titles a bit more unified...

Judge 3

Positives: The two opening shots were well captured. The narrative clearly explains the plot. The clip shows the clever abilities of the artist(s) to understand the hyper-sensitive culture we live in as well as the desire to over-dramatize every situation. Great up-close shot of the water drop falling into the glass and the use of the right chemicals to achieve the visual results. "This film has not yet been rated" This last line adds to the creative and humorous nature of the film. The explanation of the trailer as cliffhanger helped to understand the scenes.

Improvements: The acting could be more subtle. For example in the library, the students need to be more natural. Save the over-the-top actions to the main character and the bread.
