Entry Description

An orchestra concert in our auditorium.

Judge 1

Positives: Good exposure and some good close up camera work;

Improvements: Direction needs to be improved. Held on shots too long and there were some shots where the musicians were not playing and the music was coming from another part of the orchestra.

Judge 2

Positives: Good video quality. The shots you used wereframed well and in focus. I liked the shots you picked.

Improvements: Didn't show any horn section until halfway finished. I was wondering if it was dubbed in. Put some slow zooms and pans into your shots. Too many long static shots.

Judge 3

Positives: Great job. Using the different camera angles worked well. Exposure was great thoughtout the clip.

Improvements: Don't stay on a shot too long. Switch faster to other shots especially when cuts to the music. Antisipate the music changes and setup the next camera shot sooner. Don't take the wide pan/tilt shot until the people are in the shot.
