Entry Description

A creative way to recruit new cougar tv members is sought by an undisclosed organization.

Judge 1

Positives: Great use of title screens to separate your ideas. They are a great way to transition smoothly to a different scene. Using the freshman as henchmen is a brilliant idea! So it the reoccurring security guard always busting them. "Drat!" Hilarious.

Improvements: The typing sound effect was a little much. I dont know if it was a sound effect, or trying to build tension, but it didnt look like anyone was typing while it was going on. When you are trying to portray sneaky freshmen, try to pick a side of the building that doesnt have a bunch of witnesses standing around. Or try to frame them out of your shots. Credits: Boom Mic*

Judge 2

Positives: Great opening scene intro to Kiley. Loved the close up pan shot with him walking. Good shot selections and camera movement.

Improvements: If you have enough time, try playing with the sound. A fade or dip makes the transition soother.

Judge 3

Positives: Overall nice pacing of the film. Good editing and use of graphics/titles.

Improvements: Be sure to engage your audience. Give us a reason as to why we want your lead characters to succeed (or fail). We need to be invested in the characters in order to be able to relate and root for them to win (or lose). your use of wide shots are well done and the exposure was set well. Try using more close ups & insert shots. I think that will help your story telling.
