Entry Description

This is an excerpt from our school news show Spartan News Now. A crew of seven students put together this show. It includes our anchors, reporters, videographers, graphics people, as well as our director and producer.

Judge 1

Positives: i liked the voting story and the concept of teachers unplugged. the reporters were animated. i loved the graphics for the movie review and the review itself.

Improvements: i didn't like the choice of the eating contest for the first story. i also think it was dry, when it was an opportunity for more creativity in writing, delivery, video and editing.

Judge 2

Positives: * Very good story selection. Well written with good intros and tags. * The anchors were very conversational and did a great job talking to the viewers, not at them.

Improvements: I thought it was great.

Judge 3

Positives: Nice personalities.

Improvements: Be a little more creative with editing and camera movement.
