Entry Description

If you ever want to start a fire here is how.

Judge 1

Positives: I liked the topic (I am a fan of the Survivor TV program as well as some of the Discovery Channel reality shows). The close sequence was clever and a nice takeoff of the cable program.

Improvements: The video leaves a bit to be desired. Shoot some of the sequences twice, using a tighter shot the second time... then edit together. The audio also was a little rough with eratic levels.

Judge 2

Positives: Instructions were good. The information of the different types of fires was good.

Improvements: I would have liked to have seen more shot variety. There were some obvious differences in audio quality.

Judge 3

Positives: Good concept. Well executed. The flow of the project went very smoothly and it was very informative.

Improvements: Vocal audio could be a lot cleaner. big long zooms could help the project move faster if they were quick cuts to other cut away shots. Watch your shot composition.
