Entry Description

In "How To Walk Your Dog," we attempted to convey some of the main points and tips dog owners need to know when going on an outing with their pup. From how to prepare for weather, tips in the car, possible situations you may encounter and how to effectively handle them, our video is a brief summary of what may occur during a dog walk and how one should respond to it.

Judge 1

Positives: Overall video is well shot and a lot of material is covered in three minutes.

Improvements: The delivery of the narrative could be stronger. By that, I mean that you could look for words and phrases in each sentence that can be emphasized. It will make the narrative sound more natural and less like reading a script. Good job though.

Judge 2

Positives: The instructions were nice and clear. The music selection was good.

Improvements: More variety of shots would have been good. Don't be afraid to get down to the dog's level and get some shots from the dog's point of view.

Judge 3

Positives: Great idea. Good shooting and editing. Your shot composition was very good.

Improvements: Make sure you always white balance your shots. there was a shot where the exposure and color completly changed and it wasn't supposed too. Be sure to pay attention to this in the future it is very noticable. It could have moved along a little more quickly as well.
