Entry Description

A boy finds a Dodgeball Sensi to train him for a huge match

Judge 1

Positives: The music kept me in the moment you created. The cuts between the ball getting thrown were smooth.

Improvements: Where did the milk come from!? Magic Milk I guess. Add some costume work, or use varying locations outside of school to enhance the visual quality. Its always nicer to look at green grass than a white wall.

Judge 2

Positives: Great music selection, connected well with the story and set the tone.

Improvements: If you cut the dodgeball sneak attack training session faster into quick cuts it could add more intensity to the meaning of the match.

Judge 3

Positives: The comedy of getting hit by the dodgeballs and the location choices of where the "sensi" hid. Anybody getting hit in the balls is always funny. The profile shots of the sensi delivering his lines about the quest, helped amplify the ridiculousness of the request.

Improvements: Did the lead character have any intention of going on the quest for the milk? Since we never saw him actually trying to get it, it sort of fell flat at the end. The lack of music during the sensi's "pop ins" made those scenes feel slow. Using some comedic sound effects or some "epic training montage" music may have helped.
