Mike Sadowski, a kid who has never played travel basketball in his life and has had nothing ever given to him in his life except his height. See if Mike Sadowski can turn his senior basketball season into one for the ages!

Judge 1

Positives: 1) Great combination of imagery and interviews! 2) The game footage did a lot for the piece!

Improvements: 1) During the first montage of his playing, perhaps keep the clips that highlight his playing rather than showing errors (getting the ball stolen from him, missing shots, etc) 2) Consider a little lighting design during interviews to make them pop a little more.

Judge 2

Positives: Awesome work with the basketball footage. The mask really helps the viewer keep an eye on Mike. Great story idea. You picked an engaging topic and his story is especially gripping because of his injury.

Improvements: HOW TALL IS HE!!!!!!!!?????? One of the most important basketball stats is height, not to mention the description says he "has had nothing ever given to him in his life except his height," but we never find out how tall he is. I was depressed. Now I'll never know! I think there was music under the voice over, but I couldnt hear it. The song choice was almost too subtle. I would pick a more distinct soundtrack but still not overpowering.

Judge 3

Positives: Nice beginning segment with the slower frame rate and voice over, it works well. Good compilation of b-roll, interviews, photos, voice overs, etc. Smart choice of highlighting Mike when he was playing so we could see where he was on the court.

Improvements: The coach seemed to be positioned to look too far off frame, Perhaps have him look a little closer off camera to the interviewer.
