Entry Description

A Russian born Spanish teacher talks about his passions and teachings style.

Judge 1

Positives: Interesting and engaging interview. Good use of a variety of b-roll.

Improvements: This clip was missing the greater context and host interaction required in the "talk show" category. Irregardless, this was a good piece!

Judge 2

Positives: Very interesting story, nice job making it coherent. The B-roll you used was well-chosen.

Improvements: Some of the B-roll shots held a little too long. It would have been nice if you asked him more questions.

Judge 3

Positives: I liked the use of B-roll while the teacher spoke about his background. Composition in the end was very good.

Improvements: The editing of the audio was choppy in places. I could tell that it was being cut because you could hear just a fraction of the next word. We did not get to hear the host interact with the guest at all.
