Entry Description

This is a music video of the song "I will follow you into the dark" by Gavin Mikhail. This song stirs up the feeling of loss in my mind and thus I created a story line which deals with the ultimate loss. It's a deep topic for a high school student, but I feel it was therapeutic in a way.

Judge 1

Positives: very effective.

Improvements: my only 'complaint' is the shakiness of the handheld shots. This type of video needs steady shots so as not to distract from the story line.

Judge 2

Positives: The fade in and out worked well with the theme of the video. The dark lighting complimented the mood. Well done.

Improvements: Some shots lacked stability.

Judge 3

Positives: It's wals a ice short narrative that you executed well in the amount of time you had.

Improvements: Some of the shots were a little awkward when they featured the singer. Part of it was the darkness of the shots. Additionally, I couldn't tell if that was purposeful for your narrative, or just distracting.
