Entry Description

I chose to do a music video on the fun and upbeat song Faster by Matthew Nathanson. I hear that song and it makes me want to smile and dance. When I was storyboarding this video I wanted to portray flirting and budding love between two teenagers. It was fun producing this music video and the funny thing is, the two actors I used ended up dating after the shoot and are still together 6 months later.

Judge 1

Positives: Thank you for insisting that the 'singer' lip sync WITH the song, not look like they are mumbling or forgot the words. Nice storyboarding work, tells the story very well.

Improvements: would have liked to have seen the 'singer' in some of the shots of the couple - off to the side, as if they were a narrator of the scenes.

Judge 2

Positives: Good variety of fun shots. The lip syncing worked well.

Improvements: A bit more passion from the lead character.

Judge 3

Positives: The narrative really lead this song - nice execution.

Improvements: I think there could have been more about the couple and less of the performer. It took away a bit from the narrative.
