Entry Description

"Join Bobby Valli on his travels... through All Four Seasons." An original piece of stop-motion animation.

Judge 1

Positives: Good cutout animation (the guy on the slide). The snowman animation was very interesting as well. YOu did nice work with all of the time lapse drawing animations.

Improvements: Eliminate or control the camera shake. It takes away from your animation. Try shooting this on a rock-steady tripod. If you want the shake add it back in during the editorial process. After Effects has a great wiggle tool that allows you to control the amount of shake.

Judge 2

Positives: Nice idea, and execution.

Improvements: Camera moved around way too much. Could have used more animation with the characters. A few pieces of the background just popped in, and it would have been more effective had they come in gradually.

Judge 3

Positives: The four seasons idea is a good one. Good look at the various seasons.

Improvements: The movement is a bit jerky. Smooth it out. Give us something at the ending that you've been building to.
