Entry Description

Stop motion music video of the song "Home" by Phillip Phillips

Judge 1

Positives: Extremely creative use of the still picture/flip picture effect of videography. Good syncing of the song to the lip-sync.

Improvements: I liked it but wasn't blown away by it. Sometimes the flip book effect was distracting. (See Steamroller song)

Judge 2

Positives: Good concept with the photos. Quite smooth with the editing and synchronization.

Improvements: Would have liked to see more shots and faster editing in certain places.

Judge 3

Positives: Nice use of stop motion. In particular, the skateboard shots were quite nice.

Improvements: This is a nicely executed video. It wasn't completely necessary to include shots of the actor singing along. It pulled a little from the video technically. Those shots are much rougher than the rest of the video.
