Entry Description

This project is a commercial for Nike made by Gehrig Parker and Gary Serbekian from Maine South High School. We do not own the rights to the song in the commercial. While editing we not only had to edit the video footage, but also the audio. The song contained some inappropriate language that we edited and got rid of.

Judge 1

Positives: casting and final ball-rolling shot to end it

Improvements: too reliant on the soundtrack. Not much of an idea to sell the product.

Judge 2

Positives: Excellent. Beautiful editing, cinematography, direction, acting and music choice. Really evokes a feeling and a mood; if I saw it on TV I would think it was professional.

Improvements: A few more close-ups of the guy's face while he is shooting would be good.

Judge 3

Positives: Very nice. I like the cinematography; the dark/gray look is very effective. Good music selection.

Improvements: It looks like a lot of other Nike commercials.
