Entry Description

We made a short film for our film class in November. So we created a trailer for it. The movie was a silent film so we needed to put subtitles into the footage. We animated the subtitles in a unique way!

Judge 1

Positives: good editing between scenes. good soundtrack to match tone of trailer

Improvements: was unsure of plot. the scenes could be thematically linked together better

Judge 2

Positives: Great titles treatment. Intriguing insight into the character's story.

Improvements: The editing could be more dynamic to accentuate the tension.

Judge 3

Positives: Overall, a good clip. Good up-close shots add to the level of intimacy that will play out in the small space.

Improvements: Instead of suspense, I'm left with a feeling of ambiguity at the end of the clip. Not sure what the movie is about. How does the title relate to the clip. A small hint is needed if I am going to be interested in the entire movie.
