Entry Description

This is a documentary on the process we took to create our short film. We interview both the director, David Regan, and the producer, Jacob Lewis. This video covers some of the techniques used while making the film.

Judge 1

Positives: Music works in certain scenes. Some interesting shots.

Improvements: Some night shots/outside shots need lighting help. Need more tight shots for interview.

Judge 2

Positives: good use of b-roll; nice job showing the editing process and explaining it to the layperson.

Improvements: Tighter shots on interviews- the other guy editing while the director talking is distracting; ending needed to be stronger- almost seemed like filling for time.

Judge 3

Positives: Good use of rack focus. Good concept/story/content.

Improvements: Shadows/lighting. Caption flashed too quickly near the end.
