Entry Description

December 21, 2012 has been the predicted "end-of-the-world" date from the Mayan calendar. Micah and Sam share what they wish to accomplish before the deadly day comes!

Judge 1

Positives: The bullets were awesome. Great FX work. The bucket list idea is a great idea.

Improvements: I would suggest maybe writing a script. Put your ideas down on paper and outline your plans. The ideas and jokes were there, but the execution was sloppy and unorganized. If you plan it out, this concept could be amazing.

Judge 2

Positives: Visual effects for the guns were a great addition to the film that made it visually exciting. Fun set design for the characters that helped the viewer connect with the actors.

Improvements: Try to visualize an overall tone. The story feels all over the place and the scenes don't flow.

Judge 3

Positives: Nice camera work for the 'Skydiving'. Very funny and the reveal was very cool. The audio also helped with this. Nice VFX for the gun shots and the debris when shooting the squirrel.

Improvements: It would have been nice to see some close ups and medium shots instead of a single wide shot for the interview section. This also would have helped to cover up the jump cuts in these sections. Interesting topic. However, I think that the issue isn't very relavent any more. It may have been nice to attach an alt ending making fun of the fact that the world didn't end.
