Entry Description

This is a highlight package from our school talk show InFocus. This show is typically between 15-20 minutes long. It is produced, directed, hosted and filmed exclusively by students. The format of the show is one interview, one on-location interactive segment, one off-beat segment called out of focus, and finally a musical guest in studio. I am the executive producer and host of this show.

Judge 1

Positives: Appears to be a well-formatted and produced talk show with an engaging host!

Improvements: Keep up the good work!

Judge 2

Positives: Your set seemed professional and your host was comfortable on camera. Nice B-roll and preview at the beginning.

Improvements: Some of the shots were too wide, consider zooming in on your subjects. Use more B-roll to keep visuals fresh.

Judge 3

Positives: The Host does a nice job talking to the camera and to the guests. Composition of the shots were, over all done well.

Improvements: Lighting on the coach could be a lot brighter. I had to turn my audio all the way up just to hear.
