Entry Description

I see all of my friends burning the midnight oil and then sleepwalking through their school days. It prompted me to do a PSA on the dangers of sleep deprivation. I tried to show the real implications of this with a teenager.

Judge 1

Positives: A well-done PSA with a simple and effective message. Great use of close-up shots throughout the piece and effective visual storytelling!

Improvements: Next time, work to balance and color correct your shots (especially daytime shots) to improve overall video quality. Keep up the great work!

Judge 2

Positives: The pacing of the editing created exactly the mood you were going for. Nice job telling a story purely through images with it still being cohesive.

Improvements: Maybe peppers the statics throughout the video rather than having them all at the end. Some of the shots were a little too dark.

Judge 3

Positives: Good choice of music for the video. Very creative video, it is often hard to tell a story with out some sort of narration and I think this video did a great job doing just that.

Improvements: Lighting of the video didn't seem consistent through the video. The video did go past the one minute mark by 2 seconds.
