Entry Description

Using the political campaign strategies of "Backfire," "Children," "Fear," and "Commander-in-Chief," candidate One White Guy seeks political office. His opponent? A hard-working Muppet.

Judge 1

Positives: Transitions worked well and shots were steady.

Improvements: Audio needs to be more consistent and guns in school not a selling point.

Judge 2

Positives: Great variety of shots throughout the commercial. The last shot with the American flag was very impactful.

Improvements: Use of a gun in the production with children present may not have been appropriate. But the example unfortunately is very realistic. Sound was inconsistent (loud and soft) throughout the production.

Judge 3

Positives: Good sound design from the sfx and music point of view. Kinda funny, and quick to grab my attention.

Improvements: Some of the dialog was hard to hear, both the presidential candidate and the EQ'd voice over. Every shot had a sort of yellow hue; the camera should have been white balanced.
