Entry Description

A commercial for hp laptops with a man who has a personal relationship with his laptop that interferes with his personal relationship with his girlfriend. He does romantic activities with the laptop, only to end up without his girlfriend and his laptop.

Judge 1

Positives: The idea of loving the laptop was great and the product placement in the ad went well.

Improvements: Steady camera shots and a zoom on the girl running away with the computer.

Judge 2

Positives: Concept was good to feature benefits. Narrative left viewer in suspense.

Improvements: Execution of concept would have improved with additional shot selection, or scene variety. Audio was fuzzy in the commercial.

Judge 3

Positives: Funny commercial, with good pacing, shot composition and sound design.

Improvements: I feel like they should have said "HP laptop" as opposed to just "Laptop" to sort of sell the brand more. The close ups on the actors needs to give them more head room.
