Positives: Nice job. It was great to get to know about Paul and his many accomplishments. I love to see everyone rally around someone with so much passion and work ethic. You’ve given us a nice glimpse into this little slice of LLTV—thank you!

Improvements: The interviews add some great character and life to this piece, but I think they can tend to ramble a bit and also become quite repetitive. Therefore, the piece needs more editing to make your soundbites a lot punchier and more concise—so we get the point much more quickly. I think this could be an effective 3-min piece and we’d get the same general substance. Also, I think the composition/framing for Paul’s (first) interview is generally quite good, but the centered-frame of all of the rest of the interviewees isn’t quite as aesthetically pleasing. Try to follow the rule of thirds (positioning the interview subject in the left or right third of the frame) to maintain the style throughout the piece. You’ve also got a few audio issues with background noise in Paul’s interview… (I think it might be the noise from the truck itself?)... try to conduct interviews in as quiet an environment as possible.

Positives: Nice to see the good things your station is doing for students. Also nice to see that there ARE millennials who are humble, smart and kind. Paul certainly has learned a lot and should send this documentary to colleges when he applies for schools. Impressed by what he has learned.

Improvements: Didn't love the camera shots. Wanted to see broll of Paul "working" at LTTV.
