Queen's famous hit redone.
Positives: The kid playing freddie mercury/bowie was incredible. So incredible actually that it almost made me wonder if this was a joke or not. Nice camera work on the cut scenes.
Improvements: Honestly, this may be mean and i don't intend it to be, but I was confused if you guys were making this sarcastically or not. The guy singing was so over the top and incredible, I almost felt like he was hamming it up sarcastically. I was waiting for there to be a goofy shot that was kind of a 'wink' that the whole thing was overdramatic on purpose. I still enjoyed it either way. If youre curious what made me think it was a joke- it was mostly the fact that he was singing this song in a living room. Good job, mainly I was unclear if this was dramatic on purpose for the sake of drama, or for humor. Good job either way
Positives: A few of your more stylized setups for the "lead singer" are quite striking - the overexposed, plain room, and the green background. His look and performance are strong at times, but would benefit from more shot and color variety.
Improvements: The three stories of bad things happening to people seemed somewhat arbitrary. It would have been nice if they had been connected somehow, like the kid on drugs could have caused the car crash, or the separated father could have saved the overdosing kid. It's not my story to write, but I just wanted a ray of light somewhere or a twist in the three stories. Some more variety in your locations for the lead singer would have added something too - a few of them were cool-looking, but others were not as interesting.
