Cheerleading's Road to the State Championship

Judge 1

Positives: The story structure was excellent. Great interviews with members of the team.

Improvements: Sound mixing could be improved especially for the narration which seems loud at times.

Judge 2

Positives: The cutaways and tight shots of the girls gave me a good idea of them and their personalities. It also did a good job educating me about the sport and the competition.

Improvements: The writing could use more punch. It resorted to a few too many cliches. It said upfront "they're not like any other team", but I really didn't understand why. And maybe this is hard to capture, but I wish the film had shown a little more of the routines they perform themselves -- at least in a way where you could tell the formations, feats etc.
