Dramatic Narrative

Entry Description

This is a dramatic narrative me and a partner scripted and produced for our class. The narrative does have some dry humor, however, it was intended to be a dramatic production. We used a DSLR camera to film. It took us about 3 weeks to write, film, and edit this short film.

Judge 1

Positives: * Funny, dry humor. * Effectively told and interesting story.

Improvements: * Too much audio hiss throughout. * Dialogue is hard to hear.

Judge 2

Positives: The montage for the cinnamon challenge contained excellent cinematography and was well edited. I would have liked to see more sequences with this kind of visual interest. Good choice of songs to convey the actions.

Improvements: It's challenging to have a main character that's not immediately sympathetic. The ending is key to show a little more of a change in him, even if he wouldn't be completely repentant.
