With nearly 1,000 photos, this stop-motion film is about a boy playing a video game, who discovers a secret about his controller. This video was filmed in a three-hour session, and edited for over ten hours.
Positives: Choice of music and font "broken controllers" work together to give story a retro mid-80s feel. Stop-motion scenes as a whole tell story of frustration and then solution of fixing controller.
Improvements: The duplicated frames at end of each scene in order to stop the motion last too long and alter the rhythm. The "pop-up" emoji faces are confusing and not distinct enough to convey the emotional story.
