This is a sample of our recent basketball game against Niles North. We have a four camera set-up in our gym. We have a wireless floor camera that we utilize during pre-game and timeouts. We have a staff of 7 that produce this game. This is the clean version of the game. The version people see at home through our live stream has a scoreboard.

Judge 1

Positives: There was some great creative camera placement for the pregame shots and the Director stayed with it and got some nice reaction for the broadcast. It seemed like everybody was on the same page on what to do and everything flowed well from what we could see in the clip.

Improvements: The audio position was tough, since it was so loud. I can see they wanted the PA to be SOT full, but that opened up the audio to sound a little hot and the nats were still too loud when the announcers started speaking. They also had over-modulated audio. You could tell the talent was prepared for the game, but they also should let each other know what they will discuss. The question about a "revenge game" seemed to catch the color guy off guard. He did not answer it well. Also, you should really try to avoid using numbers when identifying players. Use their names as much as possible.
