Every year students live stream every home football game.

Judge 1

Positives: The replay animation and use of replay was well done and clean. It was done at the correct time and was done smoothly. I thought the audio work was very solid. You could hear the natural sound, but it wasn't too high to take away from the talent. Announcers were also modulated very well.

Improvements: I would not advocate to switching cameras mid-play just because they are running the ball. A Director should usually wait until the play is completed. You can then use that camera as a replay to show a different look than was just shown. I thought the talent was up and down. Play-by-play called a loss of 1, when it was clear it was a gain of 2. The best advice is to always mentally note where the line of scrimmage is located prior to the snap. Also, after the flag, there was almost too much guesswork on what was going on. It was also not an "interesting decision" to punt, since it was 4th and 5 deep in their territory. Minor correction: The score ribbon was very solid, but the "Eagles" text was gray on gray and hard to read. Also, the 3rd Quarter text should've been in the open box on the far right. Nice use of the down and distance, though.
