Entry Description

A comedic narrative where a friend is trying to fool another.

Judge 1

Positives: - Fun story with a good implementation of technology. - Good pacing and timing while cutting back and forth between the fooled friend and the piano player.

Improvements: - Careful following the rules of film making and shot set up. Medium close ups appeared to be the desired shot your were looking for when each actor was by themselves on camera. Visually, the viewer should be eye level with the talent, not looking down towards them. Also watch your spacing and head room. On an ISO shot, you want to stay tighter and eliminate all the extra back ground space. - Before shooting a scene, make sure to grab at least 30 seconds of natural room tone for your location. This sound file should then be laid beneath your other audio tracks when editing to keep the background noise consistent through out and avoid those audio pops when dialogue begins or ends.
