Entry Description

This is a news package for our school newscast. We got word that our fashion class was partnering with our in-school pre-K program and designing Halloween costumes for them. It was a fun story and turned out to be very informative.

Judge 1

Positives: - Good story telling. You have a beginning, middle, and end! - You captured some really cute moments with the kids.

Improvements: - Work toward using more conversational language - Incorporate natural sound in your stories when possible. In this case, hearing the sound of the sewing machines would enhance your story.

Judge 2

Positives: Engaging, interactive storytelling. I liked that you interviewed the teacher and the fashion students. would have loved a little interview from the kids on how they felt about the costumes You did a really nice job reading the VO- felt very at ease/comfortable great job with the visuals

Improvements: The audio had a buzz on it with your a couple of your interview. There were a few spots of editing that could have smoothed out a little. once your lay down your aroll--listen to it with your eyes closed and you may be able to pick those spots out a little better.
