Entry Description

Getting into college is tough, so student Colin Hughes hired a campaign manager to get him in.

Judge 1

Positives: - The graphic work on the overall piece was very well done, from the opening animation to the ticker feed at the bottom. - In comparison to political news hits, this was a very fun spin on what is usually very serious and dry.

Improvements: - The concept was funny, but the execution felt rushed. Whenever you have the opportunity for multiple takes from multiple camera angles, you always want to adjust pacing and timing to your on camera talent. - The set felt out of place. Perhaps a podium to drive home the "political" feel or a desk for a news like atmosphere.

Positives: * Clever concept. * The male actor excels and primarily propels the story.

Improvements: * Fix unintentional actor studders. * Needed a scene change beyond this one room. * Would have helped to show the student. * Too short overall. Feels like it cut off too soon with a brief outro animation.
