Entry Description

A compilation of work done by Colin C. Hughes as a student and an unpaid intern at JBTV and free work for Chicago|Midwest Emmys.

Judge 1

Positives: Good rhythm and pacing used in cutting 3D graphics. Artistry of RBTV sports animation and Chicago/Midwest Emmy animation are scaled and balanced with a polished look.

Improvements: Better composition needed in the "keyable" elements over black, ex. WKQX animation, where the transition to a black frame to start is disconcerting. Overall layering of graphic elements in the last 30 seconds needs improvement.
