Food for Thought

Metea Valley
Documentary

Entry Description

Jacob Goode of Metea Valley talks about some of the most asked questions about the lunches at Metea High School. Are the lunches really that health? You will see a number of people: a student interview, Metea administration, and a cafeteria employee. Through this, Jacob strives to find the answers about lunches, and make it clear once and for all, the nutritional value of school lunches.

Judge 1

Positives: It was nice to see a student tackling the lunch food subject. I like the fact that the principal was interviewed.

Improvements: The film needed other viewpoints from more students. The film also needed to illustrate exactly what types of food it was serving and present an alternative if there is one. It seemed to be an investigative journalism piece but more investigation was needed.
