Judge 1

Positives: Clever use of graphics. Liked the transitions between anchors. Good production value. This is a little more SNL than hard news, but I like the attempt to do something a little different.

Improvements: The Trump segment is too long. It slows down the pacing of the newscast. Sometimes it's difficult to accept we are not as funny or entertaining as we think. But producers must consider what will hold the attention of the viewers and for how long. Some of the anchor reads could be smoother. It's a good idea, when possible, to get familiar with the copy before going on the air and more importantly, really understand what you are reading.
